Diegel Kitchen Remodel
The Diegel's are a growing family.  They also have a nice home with a location they like a lot.  So, when they outgrew their kitchen they didn't move... they called Remodeling Services Unlimited.

Cheryl Waters, CAPS, the RSU designer took the old space and reconfigured it for the young family. A major design problem was an existing fireplace in the kitchen and some other brickwork that was built in to the space.  Cheryl knew what the family needed and fit it all in nicely despite these existing problems.

The final result was an open kitchen design that was perfect for the family.  The Diegel's baby came a little early, but the RSU remodelers worked with the family and got the job done on-time.  As for the remodeling job, believe us when we tell you...Mrs. Diegel loves her new kitchen!

After Photos:

Although no before photos were available for this project, this porch was completely reworked into more heated space to the home.  It connects the kitchen and den and the windowed wall (to the left of the photographer) looks out into the backyard and swimming pool.

A look at the new island with built in range and seating for five.  The existing fireplace in the kitchen created some design challenges, but it also adds a nice feel to the now roomy kitchen.

Reverse-angle view from the above photo, looking out over the new island into the new porch area. The ovens are in the other existing brick and that is concealed by the above cabinets.
