The Best's have a downtown home on a street they like, but the new additions to the family required more space. Mark Bostic from Square One turned around the entire floor plan by moving the kitchen from the front of the house to the back, relocating the laundry from upstairs to down (into the old kitchen!), recreating the outdoor living area, opening up new doorways in the home and giving Mom a good view of the backyard pool from the open kitchen and den. The upstairs also gained more room for the kids. Construction by B & W Construction Co.

Square One Plans reconfigured the entire downstairs so that the kitchen is now more functional, central to the rest of the home, open to the family room and it has a view of the backyard pool.

Right: In addition to the new inside spaces created by the remodel, the Best's now have a new outdoor living space complete with fireplace. The door goes directly into the Master Bedroom and there's another door behind our photographer that opens into the kitchen.
