| Thorne Kitchen Remodel |
| Ms. Thorne and Mr. Shrader of Columbia had finished an outdoor remodel on their back porch and realized that they needed to update the kitchen space in order to take full advantage of that area of the home. The existing kitchen was actually three smaller rooms: A bar area with outside access to the new porch, the kitchen area and a hallway. All were separated by walls and doorways that gave the space a cramped feeling. They contacted T & H Construction Co., Inc. to fix the space and build a kitchen that would be more useful. Below are the original plans for the kitchen area. |

| For this project, the wall dividing the kitchen from the hall and bar was removed, the ceiling in the bar area was raised to match the other rooms and the bar between the hall and bar area was removed. This created a large, flowing space for the new kitchen. |

| The kitchen is exactly what the owners had hoped it would be. With all new appliances, Ms. Thorne has started cooking and both residents spend a lot more time in their kitchen. |
